1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites send to your browser, where they are stored and then sent back to the same websites on your next visit.

2. Cookie preference and technical cookies

In its current setup, the site does not install any profiling or third-party cookies on first visit. The choice you make through the banner (accept/reject) is saved locally in your browser (via localStorage, not a cookie) solely to remember your preference and avoid showing the banner again on every visit.

3. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

Google Analytics is loaded only if you have given consent through the cookie banner: without consent no script runs and no analytics cookie is set. Once accepted, Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id>, used to collect aggregated statistics on site usage (pages visited, time on site, traffic source). These cookies typically last around 13 months, and the data is processed by Google Ireland Limited. For more information see Google's privacy policy.

We also use an aggregate traffic measurement tool (Vercel Web Analytics) that sets no cookies and therefore does not appear in the list above. It stores nothing on your device and uses no persistent identifiers, so it is not subject to consent. Full details are in point 3 of our Privacy Policy.

4. Marketing cookies (Google Ads)

Our Google Analytics property is linked to a Google Ads account. When you consent to the marketing category, gtag also activates the Google Ads tag (identifier AW-17942630234), which uses cookies and identifiers to measure advertising campaign results, for example to determine whether a visit originated from an ad.

This category is separate from analytics and can be refused independently. We use Google Consent Mode: if you do not consent to marketing, the ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization signals remain denied and no data is used for advertising purposes, even if you accepted analytics cookies.

5. Legal basis

Non-technical cookies are only installed after you give consent, requested via the banner on your first visit (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the method described below.

6. Managing your preferences

You can change your choice at any time: manage cookie preferences. You can also block or delete cookies directly from your browser settings; keep in mind that disabling technical cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

This Cookie Policy may be updated over time; the version in force is always the one published on this page.
