Privacy Notice
This notice is provided under Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR") to anyone browsing sbksolutions.it and using the contact form on this site.
1. Data controller
The data controller is SBK Solutions, VAT number 03944130792, registered office at Vico della Vite, 14, Lamezia Terme. For any request regarding the processing of your personal data, you can write to info@sbksolutions.it.
2. Data collected
Through the contact form we collect the data you voluntarily choose to provide:
- first and last name;
- email address;
- phone number (optional);
- the content of the message you send.
During normal browsing, our hosting provider (Vercel Inc., see point 5) also independently collects some technical connection data (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited) required for the website to function and to keep it secure.
We also use an aggregate traffic measurement tool (Vercel Web Analytics) that installs no cookies and uses no persistent identifiers. For each visit it records, in aggregate form: the page visited, the referring site, approximate geographic area, operating system, browser and device type. Visitors are identified by a temporary code derived from the request, which does not allow browsing to be reconstructed across different websites nor your identity to be established.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Responding to requests submitted through the contact form, based on the consent given at the time of submission (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, when the request concerns a quote or consulting engagement, also for the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR);
- Statistical and traffic-analysis purposes, through tools such as Google Analytics, only after you give consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). See our Cookie Policy for details on the cookies used.
- Measuring advertising campaign results, through the Google Ads tag linked to our Google Analytics property, only after you consent to the marketing category in the cookie banner (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Without that consent, no data is used for advertising purposes, even if you accepted analytics cookies.
- Cookieless aggregate traffic measurement, to understand which content is useful to visitors and to keep the site efficient. This processing relies on our legitimate interest in knowing how the site performs in aggregate form (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) and does not require your consent, as it involves no storage of any information on your device. You may object at any time by writing to the contact details given in point 1.
4. Retention
Data collected through the contact form is retained for as long as necessary to handle your request and, absent a subsequent contractual relationship, for no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless a different period is required by law. Data processed for statistical purposes through Google Analytics is retained according to the periods indicated in the Cookie Policy. The temporary code used by the cookieless aggregate measurement is discarded within 24 hours, after which only aggregate statistical data remains, not attributable to any individual.
5. Data recipients
For the purposes described above, your personal data may be shared with the following third parties:
- Web3Forms, the service that technically processes the contact form submission and forwards it to our mailbox;
- Vercel Inc., our website hosting provider, which also supplies the aggregate traffic measurement described in point 3;
- Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd, limited to browsing data collected through Google Analytics and, if you have also consented to the marketing category, through Google Ads. Without the relevant consents no data is transmitted (see Cookie Policy).
These providers may be located outside the European Economic Area; in that case, the transfer relies on adequate safeguards under applicable law (e.g. the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
6. Your rights (Articles 15-22 GDPR)
At any time you can exercise the following rights by writing to info@sbksolutions.it:
- access to your personal data (Art. 15);
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16);
- erasure of your data, where legally applicable (Art. 17);
- restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- data portability (Art. 20);
- objection to processing (Art. 21);
- withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal (Art. 7.3).
7. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe the processing of your data breaches applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali (www.gpdp.it), or with the supervisory authority of the EU member state where you habitually reside.
8. Updates
This notice may be updated over time; the version in force is always the one published on this page.
