Wrike news, 3 March 2026: more powerful AI Agents, a new Gantt chart and Klaxoon Lifecycle
AI Agents: expanded context and new actions
AI Agents become more context-aware and able to automate more complex workflows: they now read formula fields, inherit the parent project's custom fields, see sub-tasks and sibling tasks, and run cross-folder searches. They can also set and edit start and due dates, and select database records by name, automatically populating the linked Mirror Fields. A new comment icon lets you interact with agents directly in tasks.
On the reliability front: new limits on sub-item processing, load-spike handling, parallel execution of actions and an admin toggle to disable agents at the organisation level.
New Gantt chart: public snapshots and more
The Gantt chart, built on the new Table View, gains groupings, new filters and improved performance. Public Snapshots let you share a picture of the project plan with external stakeholders without granting access to the project. There's also a default density mode for the Table View, with updated task bars (including milestones) and tooltips that show key information on hover.
Klaxoon Whiteboard: activity lifecycle for administrators
The new Activity Lifecycle feature lets administrators automatically close inactive activities after a configurable period from 1 to 12 months (default 6) and automatically delete them after 24 months, with advance notifications and a recovery window. All actions are recorded in the Audit Log, and both options are off by default.
From the community
Wrike has launched a dedicated space to explore ready-to-use AI Agent configurations, including a Briefing Agent for target-audience profiling, a Revision Tracker Agent for tracking revisions and a Stale Task Escalation Agent for escalating stuck tasks.
